Pre-Poll Commentary:

Each day has 24 hours and each week has 168 hours. These hours are issued in the exact same increments to every person that is fortunate enough to be a contestant in the game of life. No more, no less. Even the richest person in the world, can't purchase, trade or barter for more time. Interestingly enough, people from poor and simple means, usually live longer than the rich and powerful. I believe it is safe to suggest that TIME IS OUR MOST PRECIOUS ASSET!

The 64 million dollar question is "How Well Are We Treating And Managing This Precious Asset?" Do we value TIME enough to protect it like diamonds, or do we consider TIME to have the same value as a pocketful of coins?

Over the next several weeks, we will be discussing the topics below, with regard to Time Management. If you do not presently have an EFFECTIVE system for guarding and allocating your time, you must fully believe in the vast benefits you can reap, before you will make a full commitment to Time Management. Below is a timetable for this POLL SERIES on Time Management.

Things just don't happen by chance. EVERYTHING YOU DO IN LIFE COUNTS! If you invest your time wisely, you will reap the benefits of those time investments for years to come. If you squander your time constantly, you will suffer the consequences for years to come. The choice is up to you. Post-Poll Commentary:

Our poll results this week illustrate that the vast majority of our respondents are not very happy about the way they manage and allocate their time. Time "just slips away" too fast, without a system "TO PLAN" and accomplish the activities we "WANT and NEED" to do.

After managing and training Sales Professionals for a couple of decades, I could easily relate with the number one answer of being overwhelmed and feeling in need of a new system. I observed the frustrations of many outside Salespeople, who believed they were always "fighting the clock" on a daily basis. Many felt like their lives were spinning out of control and they just could not keep up with their responsibilities. Only the very top performers, who learned the discipline of planning and time management were able to "FEEL IN CONTROL" of their lives.

Feeling "out of control" regarding your time is by no means limited to salespeople. It is typical of doctors, nurses, lawyers, business owners, news reporters and just about any other profession. Being overwhelmed does not leave out the millions of devoted professionals making up the ranks of one of the toughest professions of all: the Mom's and Homemakers of the world.

Are there any solutions to this time dilemma that we all seem to face in our lives? My answer is an astounding YES. But not before you fully understand where your time goes and make a commitment to altering the choices about how you invest your most precious asset of TIME.

Over the next several weeks, we will be discussing Time Management strategies and the benefits you could reap from making a commitment and executing a plan to invest your time wisely. We hope you take part in every poll and enjoy this series.
